How wonderful is this??? Carole has been coming to classes over the last few months, she started with beginners traditional patchwork and quilting by hand, then carried on with my next set of classes of ‘further patchwork techniques’………in the shadow applique class I had everyone making small underwater pictures of their own design, Carole got rather taken with her’s, the beading is amazing! We decided to remove the ‘shadow’ layer as it would have hidden all the beading, so here we have a bordered picture waiting for it’s frame…….Carole was told a year ago, after an illness, she wouldn’t be able to sew properly again, she will admit she came to me sewing very wavy straight lines, those wavy lines are now perfectly straight and she can handle small beads rather well too!!!!!
I’m so so proud of Carole……we’re having another go at shadow applique, so it’s Christmas trees this week! x
