A new ruler design from Abbieanne – this ruler has been developed to make life easier making covers for our patchwork rulers.
After years of watching students coming to classes & workshops struggling with patchwork rulers, dinging, banging & breaking them, Abbie thought it a good idea to encourage people to care for them with a cover, identify them as yours and generally make more pretty patchwork things!
The ruler allows you to achieve the correct size when cutting the fabric for any straight edged ruler very simple!! It adds just the right amount for your seam allowances, lining, wadding, ruler and wriggle room!! (would also be good for things such as phone & ipad covers) without you having to struggle with the calculations.
The ruler also allows you to draw circles/semi circles (for the fastening flap), it can be used as a handy inch guide up to 10″, it has a full length 1/4″ guide, a 1/4″ & 3/8″ hole for checking your seam allowances, corners etc.
