What a happy day I did have!!
Daffer’s, my ‘Able Assistant’ of the day and I had a wonderful time at the QGR5 gathering yesterday, thank you all for making us so welcome!!
I got to show some of my quilts and explain a few what and whys about them, always a great joy for me. Then we were treated to lunch, Fabulous thank you, good company and tasty stuff, all manner of cakes in the afternoon……the orange cupcakes were rather good……what more could a social quilter ask for?? …..afternoon entertainment by Barbara Chainey?!! What an added bonus! We were privileged to watch as Barbara talked us through her collection of work by The Tentmakers of Cairo, amazing, thank you for sharing!
