Just a general hello to everybody!!!
So what are you all up to? What quilting adventures are you all on? Are they lovely traditional, furious and fancy, neat and friendly, loud and bright?
I just finished stuffing a ‘Turkey’! A fabric trukey with toy stuffing that is, nothing edible!! He’s a rather jolly batik explosion of colour and patterns, I really must take a photo when the class has finished next week and expose him to the world!! 🙂
I also sat and edged a piece of hand finished crazy patchwork, I may just get to adding a few stitches to act as quilting now, that’ll be another UFO finished and useful at last!! It’ll make a fab example to use in class!
Earlier in the week I even finished another ‘easy landscape’ ready for the next workshop, a slightly embellished version, by hand and very bright, made totally from scraps!!!
I really must take some pictures of all this, seems I’m a bit unorganised on the flashing-front!!!! Promise I’ll add them at the weekend if not before.
For those of you who follow the furry friend happenings, Queenie (usually referred to as Mummy Cat or ‘MC-in-da-house’) had an unscheduled visit to the vets this week 🙁 I figured she really wasn’t very happy when she started bopping her boys round the head at every opportunity!!! Turns out she has/had an infection, well on the mend now, even back to grooming the boys. Seems to me I understand dogs better!!
