Sorry I have been slow in up-dating, book stuff and classes and workshops and friends all feature in the list of priorities along with family of course!!
Had a fun evening on Monday, thank you to Bodmin Beacon Quilters! A fun workshop, I’m glad that so many of you enjoyed the landscape project I dreamed up for you! I certainly enjoyed making the samples and will be taking the style a little further at some point.
And a bit of sadness along with lots of good things……another beginners group has come to an end!! Some wonderfully completed traditional sample quilts, fully hand made! Well done ladies!! If things have happened as I wanted, there may be a few picture on the main site of you all busy doing, I await the photos of the completed quilts! Well done Ladies!! Each and everyone a unique masterpiece! It never fails to amaze me that when I start a course we all start from scratch, by the end, all of the quilts are completely different, yet I’ve shown you all exactly the same things, Love it!!! I’m looking forward to seeing you all for the next course in September where we’ll be doing all manner of fun styles of patchwork! Celtic, stained glass, cathedral window, shadow applique, design your own pieced block, Suffolk puffs, somerset folded, reverse applique, trapunto, corded and mustn’t forget the crazy!!….and of course we’ll add a few as we go! All good stuff!
